AGRIPAC AND FUDELA PROMOTE FEMALE LEADERSHIP

Agripac, in partnership with FUDELA, implemented the project “Corn with Purpose: Female Leadership in the Productive Chain,” benefiting 20 women farmers from the El Empalme Cantonal Agricultural Center in the province of Guayas.

Over four months, the initiative included a 34-hour training process developed through 12 participatory workshops focused on socio-emotional skills, financial education, and gender equity.

The program achieved an average attendance rate of 84.2%, surpassing the established goal, and reached 100% satisfaction among participants, reflecting a high level of commitment and ownership of the process.

Likewise, a significant strengthening of leadership, communication, and teamwork skills was observed, reaching 89% development in these competencies, compared to a 72% baseline.

Additionally, the financial education module enabled participants’ technical knowledge to increase from 58% to 86%, promoting more conscious and structured resource management.

Agripac will continue strengthening partnerships and promoting capacity building in communities as part of its commitment to more inclusive, resilient agriculture with a gender-focused approach.
